Did you know that Del Norte County relies heavily on it's volunteer firefighters? These heroes not only fight fires but respond to medical calls and other types of calls for service as well. Volunteering for your local fire department is a great way to give back to your community, to be part of a family as strong as blood, to stay in shape, to learn new skills, and to build personal character.
