Sheltering in Place

 Non-Perishable Food Suggestions:

  • Rice

  • Oatmeal

  • Canned Meats

  • Canned Vegetables

  • Dried Fruit

  • Sweet Treats 

  • Pasta & Sauces

  • Cereal

  • Jerky

You should have 1 gallon of water per person, per day. For 2 weeks, that looks like:

  • 14 gallons for 1 person

  • 28 gallons for 2 people

  • 56 gallons for 4 people

  • NOTE: There is no risk of infection by the virus to the water supply - this is just in case of infrastructure issues - we ask people to store water AT ALL TIMES due to the threat of earthquakes/weather/etc.

Medications:

  • Fill prescription meds now

  • Keep a selection of over the counter meds available

  • Check expiration dates

For Breastfeeding Moms/Infants:

  • Nursing bras/pads/nipple cream

  • Diapers/wipes

  • Pacifiers

  • Formula

  • Vitamins

​

Don't forget your pets:

  • Pet food

  • Pet medications

  • Treats & toys for boredom

​

Sanitary Supplies:

  • Toilet paper

  • Paper towels

  • Personal hygiene items

  • Disinfectants & chlorine bleach

  • Plastic bags

Entertainment:

  • Books

  • Puzzles

  • Board games

  • Art supplies
